Translate the speech, not the video image
The translated text comes from the video's speech transcript. It does not translate signs or slide text, replace the audio, or create a subtitled video. Visual information missing from the transcript will also be missing from the translation.
- Choose a video with intelligible speech and check the duration limit shown above.
- Select Translate transcript after transcription finishes; review references that depend on the video images.
- Use the subtitle translator for an existing SRT or VTT file when you need to retain its timing structure.
