How to use speech to text

Record speech with your microphone and turn the finished recording into editable text. Allow microphone access, start recording, stop, and then start transcription.

Record first, transcribe after stopping

This page transcribes a completed microphone recording, rather than displaying live captions as you speak. It uses the microphone selected by your browser; it does not automatically capture system audio or every participant in a call.
